Teaching
My teaching focus is international conflict; however, I also teach general international relation courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. I regularly teach as part of UKCore (general education curriculum). I am also active in teaching graduate methods and hope to teach undergraduate methods in the future. For each course I have posted an example syllabus.
I recently completed training at Presentation U!. Through my work with Presentation U! I am adapting my courses to include multimodal communication assignments that build transferable communication skills. When mixed with the traditional critical thinking and research skills associated with a Political Science degree these communication skills prepare students for success in multiple career paths.
